Connection issues are primarily related to one of two issues:

  1. Firewall - Please be sure that port 5060 is not blocked by your ISP or your local firewall.
  2. 3G - iCall functions over 3G networks however not all 3G networks are equally functional. If the network you are on is heavily congested and the speeds are especially slow this may impact the voice quality available to you.
